2. Data we may process

Contact and project enquiries

When you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we may process your name, email address, telephone number, subject, project/enquiry text and any information or attachments you choose to provide. The forms on the website hand the enquiry off to email or WhatsApp after your action; the website does not maintain a separate server-side form-submission database.

Technical data

Hosting and infrastructure systems may generate technical logs required for website operation and security, such as request time, IP address, browser/device information and the requested URL.

Google Analytics data

Google Analytics loads only after you explicitly allow analytics. Once consent is given, page views, session statistics, approximate geolocation, browser/device information, a pseudonymous client identifier and selected website interactions may be measured. Name, email, telephone number and free-text form content are not sent as our custom Analytics event parameters.

3. Purposes of processing

• responding to your enquiry and clarifying project requirements;
• pre-contractual communication and performance of project/service relationships;
• maintaining website security, availability and technical reliability;
• with your consent only, measuring website usage and improving the user experience;
• complying with applicable legal obligations.

Personal data is processed only for stated, lawful purposes and in a scope proportionate to those purposes.

4. Analytics consent and cookies

Melograno Studio uses a Basic Consent approach for Google Analytics. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded and no Analytics data is transmitted until you allow analytics.

• If you choose “Allow analytics”, analytics storage may be enabled.
• Advertising-related storage and personalization choices remain denied; Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled.
• If you choose “Necessary only”, Google Analytics is not loaded.

Your consent preference is stored locally in the browser under melograno_analytics_consent_v2 and is requested again after a maximum of 12 months. If Analytics is accepted, Google may create first-party cookies such as `_ga` and `_ga_<container-id>`. You can reopen the choice using the “Analytics choice” control. If you later withdraw consent, future Analytics measurement is stopped and the site attempts to remove GA cookies set on the Melograno domain.

5. Service providers, disclosure and international transfers

Depending on the purpose, data may be processed by hosting/infrastructure providers, email service providers and, when you choose that channel, WhatsApp. Google may process Analytics data only after analytics consent has been granted.

Google Analytics, WhatsApp and other international technology providers may process data outside Azerbaijan. Any such transfer is handled subject to applicable legal requirements and, where required, your consent. If you do not allow analytics, the Studio GA4 data transfer does not start.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

6. Retention

Contact and project correspondence is retained only for as long as necessary to respond to the enquiry, manage a project or contractual relationship, and meet applicable legal obligations. When the purpose and retention need end, information is deleted or archived where required by law.

Google Analytics retention is subject to the retention settings applied to the GA4 property and Google's service-level retention rules. These settings are reviewed against the principle of retaining information only as long as necessary for the stated purposes.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request information about whether and why your personal data is processed, access data about you, request correction, request deletion where legally available, object to processing and withdraw consent that you previously gave.

Requests can be sent to mail@melograno.az. Where required by law, we may request appropriate identity verification or a formally compliant request before acting on a rights request.

8. Security and data minimisation

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are used to reduce the risk of accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. Please do not send special-category or highly sensitive information unless it is genuinely necessary for the service or enquiry.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when website functionality, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date on this page will be updated when material changes are made.
