About the Project
This children's room, made on the basis of modern interior design principles, was created to satisfy individual and shared needs. The design is based on the concept of "home within a home" - it gives children the feeling of a private and safe space.
The project combines functionality with high aesthetics; a calming background of dark green is dynamically balanced by starry wallpaper and light-colored house-shaped furniture. As a result, an inspiring environment is created, ideal for both play and restful sleep.
Detailed Concept: Safety and Creativity
The main goal of the project was to create both individual comfort and effective zoning for the child in a limited space. Every element used in the design was selected with the child's development and safety in mind.
Conceptual Solutions
- House Shaped Furniture: Individual bed structures in the shape of a "house" provide a sense of security, and also visually separate the sleeping and work/play zones. On one side there is a bedside table and on the other side there is a decorative bed area.
- Color Psychology: A dark green (Petrol Color) background wall has a calming and concentration-enhancing effect, balanced by a starry white accent wall for a cheerful atmosphere that stimulates a child's imagination.
- Lighting Corner: The large window front is functionally valued as a small seating and play nook, allowing natural light to be controlled with comfortable curtains and blinds.
Key Elements of the Architectural Solution
- Custom Furniture: White, minimalistic "Evcik" bed-loft constructions.
- Accent Wall: Different visual dynamism with white star pattern wallpaper on a dark background.
- Color Harmony: Balance of dark green background, white furniture, light wood tones and pastel (pink, beige) textile elements.
- Aydin Shingles Separation: Visual division of sleep, study and recreation areas through furniture.
- Decoration: Children's drawings and decorative elements of various geometric shapes that match the spirit of the place.
